Born: 15 February 1895, Austria. Immigrated in 1900. Died: 27 February 1988, NY. He graduated from New York University Medical School.
He was an officer in the Medical Corps of the segregated 97th Engineer Regiment. He and the 97th Regiment arrived at Valdez, Alaska on 29 April 1942 looking at three feet of snow. The 97th built the northern section of the Alaska Highway. Personnel rosters record that he was with the 97th from April through August of 1942.
His father was Louis J. Weiner, a merchant (1886-1943) His mother was Eva Weiner. His Spouse, Hannah Brodie, was born September 1896 in Scotland and died 6 March 1954, Brooklyn, NY.
He was the Medical Director and Chief of Pathology at Manhasset Medical Center at Long Island, NY. He had a private practice in Brooklyn.
