Education: Georgetown University, Washington DC, Doctor of Medicine, 1937. His father was Rocco Terlizzi (1872-1950) worked as a chipper in a steel mill and his mother was Angelina Bounaisissi (1876-1954). He married Marion Esther Billy (1919-2003) on 25 August 1941 in Alexandria, VA.
He accepted appointment as a first lieutenant in the Medical Reserve Corps in 1937 and also was a physician at the Allen’s Valley CCC Camp. He had a private medical practice in Huntington, West Virginia for 30 years. When he lived in Tampa Bay, Florida, he worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tampa.
