Civil Occupation: Draft card lists employment as a delivery boy for Fred Armstrong, a farmer. His father,Thomas Nathaniel Reidout (1897-1952), in 1940 Census worked as a laborer with WPA. He was also a veteran of WW1 stationed in France with the 368th Supply Company. His mother was Anna Elizabeth Johnson Reidout (1897-1980) the daughter of Reuben Johnson, a slave, who fought in the Civil War for his freedom.
