Born: 25 July 1908, Jersey City, NJ. Died: 30 May 1990, Burlington, N.J. Enlisted: 12 May 1942 and discharged 25 March 1946.
He attended Seton Hall and Georgetown University and graduated from University of Louisville with a degree in dentistry. He has a private practice in Jersey City.
He married Lucia Kazimira Groblewski on 21 May 1938 in Plymouth, PA. She graduated from the Mary A. Burnham School, Northampton, Massachusetts and Smith College with a degree in Art.
Lt. Piskorski was with the H&S Company of the segregated 97th Engineers. The 97th Regiment arrived in Valdez, Alaska on 29 April 1942 and Piskorski arrived on the Alaska Highway in July of 1942. The 97th engineers built the northern section of the Highway. He was with H&S company from July 1942 to the end of April 1943.
His father was Abdon Piskorski, born in Germany (1878-1949). His mother was Adelaide Wineas (1886-1971).
