
Alaska Highway. Dental Corps. H&S Company. Born: 18 June 1913, Philadelphia, PA. Died: 18 September 1978, Philadelphia, PA. Enlisted: 15 September 1941 and discharged 18 January 1946.

Education: Graduated from Overbrook High School in Pennsylvania. His hobby listed was playing the saxophone. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry and also joined the ROTC. After the war, he practiced orthodontics.

Highest rank obtained was Major. The segregated 95th Regiment completed the southern section of the Alaska Highway and their next assignment was building roads and bridges in the European Theatre.
His father was Isreal Gosman, a dentist, (1883-1932). His mother was Chaike Ida Kressin (1888-1948). Both parents were born in Russia. He married Bernice Ruth Weinberg (1918-2007) on 3 March 1942.
