Education: four years high school. Civil occupation: cook, in 1940 census he worked as a boot black in a retail hat store. He married Mary Leona Edwards in December 1945.
His father was Edward O. Ayo. In 1930 census Edward worked as a pressman in a cotton mill and in 1940 census he worked as a laborer with road construction. His mother was Ethel Henderson.
